By the end, every single one of them will have artwork they're proud of (or at least artwork that makes everyone laugh). The instructor guides every skill level. Warm-up gestures break the ice and remove the pressure. Longer poses build confidence with proper technique tips. The challenge round (blind drawing, opposite hand) levels the playing field completely. Nobody has ever left one of our classes feeling like they couldn't do it.

Absolutely. BYO drinks, your bar, your rules. Most Brisbane groups have wine, prosecco, cocktails, or espresso martinis flowing throughout. The instructor works around the drinks. A few practical notes: keep glasses away from the drawing pads (charcoal and spilled rose don't mix well), and if you're doing the 90-minute combo, the topless waiter takes over drinks service after the drawing portion. The class is designed to feel like a party with art, not an art class with party undertones.

Brisbane's subtropical climate means some days are genuinely steamy. If your venue has air conditioning, we recommend using it. If you're set on an outdoor deck or veranda class, early afternoon (before 2pm) or late afternoon (after 4pm) works best to avoid the peak heat. Covered decks with shade are ideal. If it's an uncovered outdoor space and the afternoon storms roll through, we move inside. Charcoal and easels work in any indoor space with decent light. We adapt to your venue and the weather.

Ideally two to three weeks. Brisbane Saturdays book up fast, especially during peak hens season (September through April). Rush bookings (7-10 days) work if our roster has availability. Same-day requests are a no. If your hens party falls on a long weekend or during schoolies season, lock it in a month out. The $110 deposit holds your date and is fully refundable if you cancel more than two weeks before the booking.

Yes. The 90-Minute Deluxe Class, quoted on your group, adds topless waiter service after the drawing class. For groups wanting the full-day arc, the triple stack combines life drawing (hour one), topless waiter (hours two to four), and male stripper (before dinner). We comfortably accommodate up to 50 guests with standard easel setup. Groups of 15 to 20 are the sweet spot for space, engagement, and per-person economics ($380 split 20 ways is $19 each). Larger groups work with clipboard stations instead of easels, and we've run classes for 30+ in larger Brisbane venues. If your group is over 30, mention it when you book so we can plan the setup accordingly.

We cover all of Greater Brisbane and surrounds, dispatched from our Gold Coast base with travel quoted one way on a transparent progressive model: first 10km free, $1 per km to 80km and $2 per km past that, around $70 to Brisbane CBD. Inner-city and inner-ring suburbs (Fortitude Valley, South Bank, New Farm, Paddington, Bulimba, Kangaroo Point, West End and surrounds) all sit within a few dollars of that figure, the northside (Chermside, Nundah, Aspley) prices a little above it, and outer suburbs (Mt Gravatt, Sunnybank, Springfield, Ipswich, Redcliffe, North Lakes) are quoted the same per-kilometre way. Travel is itemised once on your quote, and we bring all equipment, so the venue just needs to be a space where your group is comfortable.

Cancellations 2+ weeks out: full refund of your $110 deposit. 1-2 weeks out: deposit forfeited. Less than 1 week: full booking fee forfeited. Date changes more than 48 hours before the booking are free and easy. Venue changes within Brisbane metro don't affect pricing. The policy is fair for both sides and clearly communicated at booking. No hidden terms, no fine-print surprises.
