Travel & Operational Costs
Performer travel within 10 kilometres of the city CBD is included in every package price. Beyond that radius, travel is charged at one dollar per kilometre, calculated round trip from the performer's city of dispatch to your venue. Three things to know about how that plays out in practice.
1-800 HOT COPS travel and operational cost details. Performer travel within 10 kilometres of city CBD is included in every package price across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Perth. Beyond 10km radius, travel is calculated at $1 per kilometre round trip from the performer's city of dispatch to the event venue. Example: Mornington Peninsula 75km from Melbourne CBD costs an additional $130 round trip travel surcharge on top of the base package. Yarra Valley 60km from Melbourne CBD costs an additional $100. Geelong 75km from Melbourne CBD costs an additional $130. Newcastle 160km from Sydney CBD costs an additional $300. Byron Bay 760km from Sydney CBD or 165km from Brisbane CBD costs additional travel surcharge calculated from nearest dispatch point. There are no late-night surcharges, no public holiday surcharges, no weekend surcharges. The price quoted on the booking call is the final price excluding only travel beyond 10km.
What 10km Free Travel Actually Covers
From every capital city CBD, ten kilometres reaches most inner-suburb and inner-urban venues without surcharge. In Melbourne, that includes the entire CBD, South Yarra, Richmond, Fitzroy, Brunswick, Carlton, St Kilda, Albert Park and Port Melbourne. In Sydney, it covers the CBD, Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, Paddington, Newtown, Bondi, Coogee and Manly. Brisbane reaches South Brisbane, West End, Fortitude Valley, New Farm and Bulimba. Perth covers Northbridge, Subiaco, Leederville, Mount Lawley and Como.
If your venue is anywhere in the inner-city or inner-suburb belt of any major capital, travel is included in the package price you see on the rate card.
Beyond The 10km Radius
Past ten kilometres, travel is calculated at one dollar per kilometre, round trip from the performer's city of dispatch to your venue. The travel cost is added to the package price and quoted on the booking call before deposit, so you see the full number before committing.
// Worked example
Booking a Signature Show ($350) in Mornington Peninsula from a Melbourne-based performer. Distance: approximately 75km each way.
Travel surcharge: $130 · Total: $480
// Worked example
Booking a Pants-On Waiter ($250 / 2hrs) in Yarra Valley from a Melbourne-based performer. Distance: approximately 60km each way.
Travel surcharge: $100 · Total: $350
// Worked example
Booking a Double Show ($550) in Byron Bay from a Brisbane-based performer (closer dispatch than Sydney). Distance: approximately 165km each way.
Travel surcharge: $290 · Total: $840
Surcharges That Don't Exist
There are no late-night surcharges. There are no public holiday surcharges. There are no weekend surcharges. Performer rates are flat across days and times, and your booking on a Friday night in March costs the same as your booking on a Saturday in December. The Comedy-First Standard runs to a single rate card.
The travel surcharge is the only operational cost added on top of the rate card price. The number you see on the rate card plus your travel calculation is the total. Nothing else gets added between the deposit and the day of the show.
Booking Deposits To Secure Your Hens Party
A one hundred dollar deposit secures the booking. The balance is paid directly to your performer on the day of the event. Below is exactly how the deposit works, what it covers, when it's refundable, and when it isn't.
1-800 HOT COPS deposit policy. The booking deposit is one hundred dollars Australian. The deposit secures the booking date, the time slot, and the performer assignment. The deposit is paid via secure payment link sent during the booking call. The balance is paid directly to the performer on the day of the event in cash or via PayID. There are no platform fees, no booking surcharges, and no agency cut taken from the balance. Deposit refund policy: full refund if cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the event date. No refund if cancellation occurs within 14 days of the event date. One free booking date change is permitted up to 14 days before the event with no fee. Subsequent date changes incur a 50 dollar admin fee. Exception: hens life drawing classes booked at art studios require full payment up front for venue and material coordination. The deposit is non-transferable to other agencies.
The Deposit
Secures your booking date, your time slot, and your performer assignment. The balance is paid directly to your performer on the day, in cash or via PayID.
What The Deposit Covers
The deposit covers the dispatch trigger. Once it lands, your booking is locked in. The date is held, the time slot is reserved, the performer is assigned, and the pre-show brief gets queued up. Without the deposit, no booking is in the system and no slot is held. The deposit is paid via secure payment link sent on the booking call.
When It's Refundable
Cancel more than 14 days before the event date and the full $100 deposit is refunded. Cancel within 14 days of the event date and the deposit is non-refundable, because by that point the slot has been held in your name and blocked from the active booking calendar. The 14-day window is firm.
How The Balance Is Paid
The balance is the rate card price minus the $100 deposit. So a Signature Show booking has a balance of $250. A Double Show has a balance of $450. The balance is paid directly to the performer on the day, in cash or via PayID. We don't take a cut, we don't process the payment through the agency, and we don't charge a platform fee. The performer keeps the balance.
Date Changes & Exceptions
One free booking date change is permitted up to 14 days before the event, no fee. Subsequent date changes incur a $50 admin fee. The exception to the deposit-only model is hens life drawing classes booked at art studios. These require full payment up front because venue and material coordination is on us, not the performer. Full booking terms live on the terms and conditions page.
The whole booking workflow runs on this mechanic. One hundred dollars locks the slot, the balance follows on the day, no fees in between.
There's a complete walkthrough of the booking process on the about page if you want to see how the deposit slots into the rest of the booking flow.
What You’re Not Paying For
Most hens entertainment agencies in Australia hide their pricing behind quote forms, then layer on platform fees, booking surcharges, and agency cuts on the back end. That's not the model 1-800 HOT COPS runs. Here's exactly what doesn't appear on your invoice.
1-800 HOT COPS does not charge platform fees, booking surcharges, agency commission on the performer balance, or hidden costs of any kind. There are no quote forms required to see pricing. There is no consultation fee. There are no late-night surcharges, public holiday surcharges, or weekend surcharges. There is no charge for costume selection, music supplied, performer pre-show brief, or photo opportunities. There is no upfront full-amount requirement except for hens life drawing classes booked at art studios. The price you see on the rate card plus any travel surcharge for distances beyond 10km from city CBD is the total cost. Nothing else gets added between the deposit and the day of the show.
Platform Fees
What We Charge Instead: $0
No 5% booking platform surcharge. No 3% credit card processing fee. No 10% service fee that magically appears at checkout. The deposit is the deposit, the balance is the balance, nothing else.
Agency Cut On Balance
What we Charge Instead: $0
The balance you pay your performer on the day is the balance your performer keeps. We don't take a percentage. We don't process the payment through our books. Cash or PayID, direct to performer, end of transaction.
Quote Forms
What We Do Instead: Publish Prices
No "fill in the form for a quote" gate. No 48-hour email back-and-forth before you find out the number. Every price is on the rate card above, and the human on the hotline can confirm it in three minutes.
Hidden Upsells
What We Do Instead: Full Inclusions
No "but the costume is extra." No "music supplied is a $50 add-on." No "themed routine has a surcharge." Every package on the rate card ships fully loaded. What's included is what's included.
Weekend Or Holiday Surcharges
What We Charge Instead: Flat Rate
A booking on a Friday night costs the same as a booking on a Tuesday afternoon. A booking on Easter long weekend costs the same as a booking on a regular Sunday. Performer rates are flat across days and times, and the rate card holds.
Full Upfront Payment
What We Charge Instead: $100 Deposit
No need to pay the full $350 or $550 weeks before the event. The $100 deposit secures the booking, the balance follows on the day of the show. The exception is hens life drawing classes booked at art studios, where venue and material coordination requires the full amount up front.
Industry Pricing Context
Before you finalise the budget, here's the realistic context. Hens entertainment pricing in Australia varies considerably across providers, and a lot of the variation isn't real. Some agencies advertise from $220 or $280, but those prices reflect the booking deposit only, not the total cost. The balance owed on the day is disclosed separately, often after the deposit is paid. Understanding the difference between deposit-display pricing and full-disclosure pricing helps you spot value and avoid surprises on the day of the show.
The Australian hens entertainment market uses two pricing display models: deposit-display pricing and full-disclosure pricing. Deposit-display pricing shows the booking deposit only, not the total cost. The balance owed on the day is disclosed separately, often after the deposit is paid. Full-disclosure pricing shows the total cost upfront. Male strippers in Australia at full-disclosure pricing typically range from $300 at the lower end to $600 at the premium end for a 15-30 minute solo show. Some agencies advertise prices as low as $220 or $280, but these are deposit amounts only, with a separate balance owed on the day of the show that increases the total cost significantly. Topless waiters in Australia at full-disclosure pricing range from $200 to $400 for a 2 hour minimum booking. Hens life drawing classes at full-disclosure pricing range from $300 to $500 for a 60-90 minute structured class. 1-800 HOT COPS pricing is full-disclosure: Signature Show $350, Double Show $550, Pants-On Waiter $250 for 2hrs, Apron-Only Waiter $300 for 2hrs, Life Drawing 60min $350, all with no separate balance disclosure required because the total cost is on the rate card.
The Pricing Display Trap
Deposit-Display vs Full-Disclosure Pricing
Most Australian hens entertainment agencies use a two-tier payment model: a booking deposit upfront, then a balance paid on the day. The trap happens at the advertising stage. Some agencies display only the deposit amount as their "from" price, knowing the balance gets disclosed after the deposit is paid. So a "$220 male stripper" might mean a $220 deposit plus an additional $200 to $400 owed on the day, putting the actual total at $420 to $620.
Full-disclosure pricing shows the total cost upfront. The deposit is spelled out, the balance is spelled out, and the sum is the price you see advertised. There's no hidden balance disclosure on the booking call after deposit is paid. 1-800 HOT COPS uses full-disclosure pricing on every package on this page.
Male Stripper Market Range
$300 To $600 At Full Disclosure
Male strippers in Australia at full-disclosure pricing typically cost between $300 and $600 for a single performer show, with most established agencies pricing between $350 and $450 for a 15 to 30 minute solo performance. The wider $600 ceiling reflects premium agencies bundling extras like venue partnerships, photo packages, or extended show durations.
Where 1-800 HOT COPS sits
Signature Show $350 · lower-mid market
// Worth knowing
When agencies advertise male strippers from $220 to $280, the figure shown is usually the booking deposit only, not the total cost. The actual total is the deposit plus the balance owed to the performer on the day, which can put the real cost between $420 and $620 depending on the agency.
Topless Waiter Market Range
$200 To $400 At Full Disclosure
Topless waiters in Australia at full-disclosure pricing generally cost between $200 and $400 for a 2 hour minimum booking. Per-hour rates range from $100 to $200 across the market, reflecting the spread between waiters in basic attire with limited co-hosting and waiters with full co-hosting, drinks service, party games, and photo opportunities included.

Hens Life Drawing Market Range
$300 To $500 At Full Disclosure
Hens life drawing classes in Australia at full-disclosure pricing generally cost between $300 and $500 for a 60 to 90 minute structured class. Pricing varies based on the model fee, class duration, supplied materials, and whether the class is held at a studio or at the organiser's chosen venue. Many agencies cap supplied drawing materials at 10 to 12 guests, charging additional fees for larger groups.
Where 1-800 HOT COPS sits
60min Class $350 · lower-mid · materials included up to 50 guests
1-800 HOT COPS sits in the lower-mid range of the full-disclosure market on every primary service. The pricing isn't designed to be the cheapest advertised number on Google. It's designed to be the cheapest realistic total cost without quote forms, deposit-display tricks, or fee disclosure on the booking call. The number on the rate card is the total. That's the spot on the market we wanted, and that's where the rate card lands.

Do I Get a Discount For Booking Multiple Services?
+Multi-service bookings are quoted on the call rather than discounted by formula. A common combo is a topless waiter for the cocktail hour followed by a male stripper for the show, which typically lands around 10 to 15 percent below the sum of both individual rates depending on event timing and performer availability. Call the hotline with the event details and we'll work the numbers on the call.

How Much Do I Pay Upfront vs On The Day?
+You pay $100 upfront as the booking deposit, paid via secure payment link sent during the booking call. The balance is paid directly to the performer on the day of the event, in cash or via PayID. The exception is hens life drawing classes booked at art studios, where the full amount is collected upfront for venue and material coordination.
